Hi everyone,

I have tried searching for the answer to this one but I know it changes all the time. We have booked a vehicle with Alamo. Last year we were expecting a G5 size kind of vehicle only to get the vehicle and see it wasn't even close and we ended up with a Dodge Caliber which was 'snug' to say the least !

So, this year we have decided to upgrade to a G6 size vehicle but does anyone know what kind of vehicle it is likely to be ? We are picking it up from Orlando International.

Thanks

Lilybee

I actually rented a car from alamo oct 21st last year for 9 days. the one right by the airport. and it was a g6 sized car and they offered me a bright tacky blue pt convertible. i gracefully declined and they gave me a basically brand new 09 altima. it was just me and my gf at teh time so we fit fine and i loved the car. i would say 4 people would fit very comfortably. more than 2 adults in the backseat would be pushing it.

don't knock the pt convertible I had one as a rental in Scottsdale Arizona and it hit 130 on the highway without a problem lol. Though I would have preferred the altima =)

it was just ugly and not at all suitable for what i expected. and ugh, it was tacky blue. the altima was much better but still not quite my 300C i have at home.

There are a few G6's still around, but their mileage is high. The Kia Forte EX sedan and Ford Focus sedan were the most prevalent last month when we had to choose. The mid-size (standard) lane also had many one-offs from Chevy HHR's to Dodge Caliber's to Kia Optima's. We took a Forte and it was good sized inside and in the trunk.
