I don't know about the GPS, but you drop the car with valet and they will give you a receipt with the time on it to show that you returned the car. It is very easy.

Will return a car @Dolphin after they are closed. How does it work? How to return the GPS?

Ask them when you pick up the car. My guess would be that you would just leave it in the car.
