alamo codes/coupons - where from?

In my searching for codes/etc , I found an alamo id/coupon combination
of One Free Day - I.D. Number 7013614 & Coupon Code AF1266DDV
Offer valid through 12/31/2007.
When I apply it on alamo's site, it says to be aware I may need to provide a printed copy of that coupon. Does anyone know where this CONTRACT ID/ coupon code came from ? It gave me a GREAT rate (better than I've gotten so far).

Don't know where it came from, however, you are right, it is a great rate for 5 or more days.

I could not find where your code came from either. Use the same ID code, and try this new coupon code.

I do rent from Alamo a lot, and when you put in a coupon in the res, they do ask for it at time of pick-up.

Not sure what they would do if you did not have it, as i always do, BUT they do ALWAYS ask me for it.

The corp ID your using here is the BEST. Just saved me an additional $25, so thank you!!!

I have never been asked for my costco card (I am a member, but have NEVER been asked to show it). I have been asked for my coupon everytime as pp mentioned. It is not hard to get the costco printed coupon.

I've never been asked for an Alamo coupon or Costco card. However, I had both.

Last month upon arriving at MCO and the Alamo counter, there were 20 people behind me and one agent. This is probably why he didn't ask me for a coupon.

Poor guy was slammed!

The corporate ID# is really close to one that I used for American Express. I have to use my American Express card to rent the car to get the rate. You may be required to use a certain credit card so I would check into that one further.

Sorry I can't find that coupon anywhere. BUT these two will also give you the same rate (at least they did for the days we are going)

well I was worried about not having the coupon for that, so I searched around and found this one from mastercard -
id 7013489 coupon AF5562ODW
and it produced the exact same price as what I did originally so I changed my ressie to the new id/coupon to be safe as I do have a mastercard.
