Alamo at MCO - Premium or Standard?

I currently have two options at MCO from Alamo, a Premium or a Standard (which I know will actually be a full size), with the Premium being $40 more. I'm mostly concerned with trunk space, as we are travelling with our infant and therefore more baby gear than Babies R Us. Anyone know if I would have better luck with a good size trunk with a particular car class? Or the magical surprise upgrade to an SUV or minivan if I keep one class over the other? We are landing at 7 on a Friday night in May (weekend before Memorial Day) if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Premium class cars tend to be better appointed, not necessarily larger. However, sometimes you'll see a Ford Taurus, which has a HUGE trunk, as a Premium car. You're also more likely to get a large SUV.

In any case, getting a Premium car for just $40 more (I assume that's per week, not per day) is worth it.

Yes, $40 total, 9 day rental.

Ok, thanks! DH said to do whatever I want, so I guess we will go premium! As long as I can get something with a big enough trunk to get everything to the resort, I don't cares what I'm driving. Maybe it will encourage me to pack lighter!

Alamo at MCO has a standard class and a full size class but they only have a full size aisle. So book a standard. It'll be cheaper and you'll still get to pick from the full size aisle. We just got back on Sat. Booked a standard class. Got to the rental cars at 2 am Thurs (really delayed flight). The full size aisle had Impalas, Malibus, one mini van, some Camrys and a black Taurus (which is listed as a premium but was parked in the full size aisle). We chose the Taurus. I LOVED IT. It was loaded, too. We may have gotten lucky since it was so late (or early).
