Al Sharpton Strikes Again!

Having grown up in the area of the Tawana Brawly case, knowing very well some of the innocent men implicated by Al Sharpton and having my mother called for a jury in the case (she was excused because of my relationship with one of those involved), I will feel comfortable now and forever saying that Al Sharpton is opportunistic scum.

I would not shake his hand, I would not share a stage with him, debate with him, or give him any measure of respect bec he does not deserve it. Whatever he says, I would have a strong tendency to believe the opposite, bec the man is a LIAR who willfully and maliciously goes about ruining people's lives without a care in the world as long as it serves his fame ***** purposes.

As has been said by others, I, too, do not agree with everything Al Sharpton says but I very much agree with his right to say it. It would be a sad day when we step all over the constitution just because it causes us some inconvience.

What I find interesting is the opinion that "Al is only out for Al" by those who do not agree with him. I can't help but wonder if you would feel the same way if he was fighting for something YOU believe in (regardless of his reasons).

As I said no offense, but at one time I did. I don't know Charade from adam, but you have to admit that when most people don't agree with someone, they visualize about who this person reminds them of. I'm pretty sure he's a great person who I'll probably never agree with on most issues. Just as i'm pretty sure people judge me based on my views here which is fine.

Only joking, but all kidding aside, I remember that time period very well also. VERY sad...and he shattered lives, and didn't look back or apologize. He almost did it again with the Duke Lacrosse players.

Mare read my post again. I didn't attack Charade I made a comment about how people can perceive another based on what they don't know.

Now in all honesty tell me how you come to the conclusion that I support Al? Is it because I don't agree with most of you. No where did I say I support Al, but I did say I didn't care what Al does. I also said Al is entitled to say what he wanted. We all are, or do you think that right should be limited to certain people?

Al Sharpton IS a racist plain and simple. Any message HE is trying to get across is tarnished by his reputation.

He is not fighting racism or police brutailty - he's ONLY concerned with racism against African Americans and police brutality against African Americans. You will NEVER see him fighting and protesting when the victim is white or hispanic and the culprit is African American.

Some keep posting that it was 2 black and 1 white cop. It doesn't matter what color the cops are, too many of them act like the criminals they are supposed to apprehend.

In the Philly beating, the cop supporters on the news said that these thug cops were emotional because they loss a buddy a few weeks ago. So in essense this excuses the criminal behavior. If they can't handle the job, then go work someplace else.

As far as the cops are concern, for a certain group it is " to protect and serve," for all others, it is to brutalize and ask questions later.

I would bet that the late groom's family got Al to help them because he will bring attention to the problem.

I've never been a fan of negative attention, because most people, when they hear of the "Rev." Al, roll their eyes and say "Oh, he's at it again".

His intervention in anything makes it suspect in my eyes.
