I'll take that walk down memory lane with the Republicans when someone claims the $10,000 reward that's still out there for anyone who could prove he served with George Bush in the Alabama Air National Guard.

Heres' consistency: The Republicans have been WRONG about everything in Iraq and 3580 Americans are dead, 25,548 have been wounded, and the American taxpayer has been hosed to the tune of over $500,000,000,000 (that's billion with a "B").

And the Republican consistency goes on and on. They still support the clown in the WH.

There are 2 kinds of role models:

1) those you wish to emulate

2) those who embody "don't let this happen to you".

I think that there is reason that Gore wants to cancel his speaking engagements for the next 6 months. He wants the public to forget his shrillness and to practice sounding somewhat rational. I am not sure he can do it. His rhetoric and tone, in the political arena and in the fiction he has put forth with regard to global warming will eventually come back to bite him. His association with Moveon.org won't be particularly helpful either. If he runs, he will be canabalized by the members of his own party for "coming too late to the party. Hillary feels its her turn and I doubt that she will turn it over to Gore without a fight. His global warming assertions are already fading under scientific scrutiny.
