Al Gore

At least Gore was in the military. He served in the Army as a military journalist, but he went to Vietnam. (I know McCain did too, but he's got even more baggage than Gore).

Face it. If Ralph Nader hadn't entered the 2000 election, Gore would have been president. I do think Gore shot himself in the foot by down-playing the environment during his last run, but I don't know if he had the information then that he has now.

Thank God for Ralph!!!!!!

Sorry I don't really believe anything that comes from Snopes
Me neither. Not even if it's about Bush. ;)

I would vote for Al Gore in a heartbeat just like I did before. He seems totally disinterested in running though so I'll have to settle for someone else. :confused3

I'm sorry, let me rephrase that - he never said he "invented the internet"... he said he "took the inititave in creating the internet" in a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer.

Sounds like he said he invented the internet to me. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for taking a look at the link. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Call me jaded, but I don't think it makes much difference who wins the election. Getting the U.S. out of Iraq will be be the number one priority no matter who wins. (Republican or Democrat) After that, it will be pork-barrel politics as usual.

His actions speak louder than words. Also, do YOU as a democrat identify totally with a president?:confused3 You seem to think that because I don't like Al Gore, that I think all liberals are crap. I certainly don't agree with everything Bush does, and quite frankly, I really don't like him.

It just confuses me that you think b/c I have a problem with Gore, that I have a problem with the whole democratic party.

When you eat from the liberal trough, you have to eat everything. If you don't, you're "one of them".

Perhaps you missed where I said both are equally responsible. Unlike some, who for the most part discount manmade pollutants entirely, I believe both sides have merit. Okay?

Perhaps you missed where Mars is heating up at the same rate as the earth. How can this be possible without the human influence on Mars?

Any politician from ANY of the parties scare me, BUT Al Gore takes the cake. No way...no how would I ever vote for him. He is way too extreme for my liking.

I sure hope Gore runs. It would be nice to have someone with some knowledge in the WH. No doubt that's what scares a lot of people about him. They are comfortable with the dumb level of Bush, and the rest of the GOP want-to-bes.

If Gore did get into the race, I would vote for him. I would love to see a Gore/Richardson ticket.

Well, apparently Bush 1 wasn't tough enough on terrorism and Bush 2 was too tough??? :confused3

If Iraq was everything Bush 2 claimed it was, how come he had to lie his way into this war?

And really is the best you people can come up with is a 15 year old piece on YouTube. :lmao:

Here's a little clue: Assuming Bush stays in office until the end of his term, over 4000 Americans will be dead in Iraq. At least 35,000 will have been wounded. That is what is going to matter except to the 29% who really think mainstream America gives a rat's *** over a 15 year old political speech. But, enjoy the "Ooo we gotcha good" moment. :rotfl2:

I would absolutely vote for Al Gore. I rooted for him in 2000 even though I wasn't old enough to vote and admire him as someone who genuinely cares about our country and its future.

Republican here, previously a very strong and involved Democrat.

I voted for Gore when he ran, didn't really trust either, but figured the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. Meaning neither of them wowed me.

Gore can come out of nowhere and win. He does have the strength, background, charisma and love of the country to win. The only thing I see getting in his way are the Clintons. I believe them to be ruthless, manipulative and have way too much power. I still believe that they had a hand in Vince Foster's death.

I don't vote party lines though. I never voted for Kennedy even though I was a Democrat.

If it came to Gore/Lieberman vs Thompson/Guilliani I would vote Gore. I love Lieberman.

What's not for Republicans to love about Lieberman. He's one of them in everything but name.
