AKV- If YOU bought how many points

I just got 55 points. Really didn't need anymore points, but when you've bought into the first 7 resorts, how can you not buy into the 8th??.

Yes, since Disney will not break up a contract, people buy multiple smaller contracts. If they have to downsize, but don't want to lose the whole thing. Others are considering their children, and passing it down.

With what we want for our next trip this fall, a 56 pts contract would be perfect. Can I buy that odd number? Might as well make it 60 pts though I guess, nice round number!

We are selling our 50 pt VWL though. I wish I had known about splitting the contracts up into smaller sections. I would have done that with our 130 SSR add on.

As long as it is over the 25 point minimum add on I do not think Disney cares what number you choose.

Wife's in a good mood! She is so happy about the haircut she got today that she gave the green light to an additional 100 points at AKV! That now makes 300 at AKV!

We're doing 2 50 pointers. We already have 100 at SSR and since Santa was in The Santa Clause and got a CM discount on it , it's not so easy to sell. Also, we had to buy 100 minimum to get the discount, so Dh said to go for it. I'm still in shock that we have 200 points! I am SO blessed!!!

yes you can you can buy anywhere fron 25 points to 2,000 points.

We have three 170 point contracts at SSR (we split it up so each of our children would receive one). We are purchasing three 80 point contracts at AKV for the same reason.

We hadn't thought about splitting it - when we went to buy SSR, our guide suggested, that since we were buying so many points, it would be best to split it into 3 contracts, which would make it easier to split amongst our kidlets.

We origially were going to get 500 points - ended up with 510 because of the "math". I'm eternally grateful to my guide for being so astute!!

I actually thought about purchasing 100 points at AKV. However, given that we vacation in the summer months, I think we can book in the 7 month window -- at least, I am hoping. We currently have 250 points at BCV's and 225 points at HH ---- total of 475 points. 475 points is just right for our family and allows us to take 3 solid weeks of vacation per year. However, the great news is that with the addition of AKV, I think all DVC members will benefit because the quality of the properties goes up with the addition of AKV. Thanks and Go Vols!

I am curious, since I'm new here just purchasing SSR . Is that sold out now that there selling AKV??? What is the minimum number of points you can purchase at AKV and does anybody know $$$ or if esxisting DVC members get a discount????
