I will be attending a conference in March, the event has discount rates with both AKL and Coronado and I will need to be at the conference on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday pretty much all day.
Our thought is to come down to Disney the Saturday before the event, and stay until the Sunday after. Our sons will be 7 & 5 at time of travel. My wife will be on her own with them for three days and she isn't looking to take them to the parks as she doesn't want to have a nervous breakdown trying to manage the two of them.
So...we're looking for a place where they can stay busy on Tues-Wed-Thurs while I'm gone. We've stayed at Coronado in the past and they love the pool & playground, but I'm concerned they will get bored after a day or two, so we're strongly leaning toward AKL, especially since they have a kids club.
Has anyone taken advantage of the kids programs at AKL? Do you have any advice? Would two kids of the age of our sons enjoy themselves? Would they get bored? Is the pool and playground enjoyable?
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer!!
