….however, if you've booked a savannah room, then I would request Zebra Trail - near elevator.

Kimmar the view looks very similar to the one we have.

I could not believe how hard it snowed this am. An inch when I got up and almost 8" three hours later.

DH had to work last night and he got to leave early and it took him two hours to get home.

…thank goodness at least he got home! :thumbsup2 BTW ~ We got almost a foot….

We had a savannah view and were on Zebra Trail, near the lifts. Loved it there as I didn't need to get in the lift (claustrophobic) and could walk to the lobby and shops all by myself, lol!!

Kimmar, your view looked pretty much like mine. Official total at the airport (about 20 minutes away) was eight inches. We're supposed to get more snow tomorrow, but only a few inches. Good news is we'll be able to pick up the Girl Scout cookies from my daughter's troop tonight. I couldn't believe the angst and drama about a delay in getting thin mints.

I keep my fingers crossed for you.

Operation GS cookies went off without a hitch. My family consumed an entire box of samoas in five minutes flat.

DizDaD7, hope you're able to fly out with no trouble. We had friends leaving for a cruise yesterday. They drove to the airport, hoping they'd get out, just to get stranded at the airport. I think they were thinking of driving, just to get out of Pennsylvania and away from the snow. Not sure where that would have been, considering the state of the roads in the south right now.

…nothing worse than sitting in a crowded airport for hours on end...

oh 13 days. Who says that is unlucky for some not you! :-)

Trust me, it sounds lucky so far! Can't wait for my mom to see AKL!! She will be blown away.

Not sure how to surprise the kids yet. I was going to wake them up and head to the airport instead of school but I think I'd rather drive to Philly the night before.
