…..how old are they?
I have an odd question for anyone who's stayed in one of the two-bedroom villas.
My DH and I stayed at AKL on our honeymoon and adored it. We're considering going back in 2015 with our boys ... and my parents. It would mean the world to me.But we've been looking for a way to share a room or villa to cut down on the cost to them.
The issue: Mom is a snorer.Like, buzzsaw level. Dad is used to it. But the last time we all tried to share a hotel room, it was a disaster.
If we put the folks in the master bedroom ... and stayed in the other bedroom with the boys ... well, I guess the question is, how's the sound-proofing in the villas?
Thanks!
Well, this is sad news (to those of us who like a parade!):
"Afternoon parade to end at Disney's Kingdom
may I suggest two studios? Rather than a one or two bed villa maybe? Not connecting lol..I have an odd question for anyone who's stayed in one of the two-bedroom villas. Hi . We stayed at Kidani and loved it did not order food but just to let you know we found bugs a real issue round the pool so much so we used the pool at Jambo instead. But maybe we were in bug season? We went in May.Hoping I can ask a question about Kidani here. We are booked from August 21-August 23 in a 2 bedroom suite. Our plan is to spend a good portion of each afternoon and evening at the pool. I have a 4 year old and 2 year old who LOVE swimming. With that said, has anyone ordered room service poolside at Kidani? i heard it is possible and that there is a phone at the bar. Just wondering if anyone has actually done it?? Would love to order by the pool and just eat there! Thanks in advance for the help!

You can buy a few things to eat at the bar by the Kidani pool. I can't remember everything, since I didn't order there. My husband had the Cuban panini a few times and really liked it. It's not a huge menu, but there are a few things you can order. I don't know about room service.
it was these love bug things. They were harmless not stinging or anything just annoying!Ugh...really?? Bees or bugs?? I don't mind bugs as much as stinging bees with little kids. That would ruin the day and week for us for sure!

thanks that is good advice. I think Disney do a good job as well. We have stayed in many onsite resorts never seen a bug before but Kidani was awful. I heard of others say they experienced this too. Maybe it's the pooled up issue you mention. But we didn't mind the pool at Jambo was lovelyIn Central Florida, pretty much every season is bug season ... other than that blissful period in January to mid-February when they subside a bit. It's different bugs in different times of the year, but it's nearly always something. IMO Disney's property management people do as good a job as anyone in the industry of keeping the bugs to a minimum, but pool areas are always a weak point in the defenses due to the constant presence of standing water. Such is life. Since there are almost always multiple pool options, I suggest finding the one that's got the most sun exposure, because it will have less pooled up standing water during the day. That's the biggest issue.
