Hello all!

Got home yesterday from the Everest Challenge weekend. Great race. AKL had a few minor hiccups..mainly not able to buy my husband a FL Res Ticket with the magic band so we had to go back to the hotel and buy it. That was irritating.

Also, I had requested Giraffe Trail / Lobby level..got 4th floor, over by Mara. After a few tense moments, was given 3020. PERFECT ROOM! Great pool view and on Giraffe trail.

I am checking in again Friday with the same area request, lets see how that goes.

Does anyone have a current AKL activities schedule? Particularly interested in the drumming class, my kids loved it last time. We have two non park days planned, one for AKL activities.

I've been waiting and waiting for it to be updated! Yay! Glad to know the drumming is recommended... did your kids do both of these?

So I think I saw that there are now electronic signs that have bus waits/times posted at AKL? Can anyone confirm this?

Trying to work backwards, we have a 5:40pm ADR at 'Ohana. Husband would like to check out the Contemporary, say for 20-30 mins. What time do we need to catch the bus from AKL?
Bus from AKL to MK
Monorail MK to Contemporary
20-30 mins at Contemporary
Monorail Contemporary to Poly
5:40pm ADR at 'Ohana

There is a monitor with bus times at Kidiani but not Jambo as of Sunday..I wish they would put one there!!

I think it would be faster to take the bus to MK and walk to CR
or, usually..I will take a bus to AK and then hop a bus to the resort I want to see. This has worked for us when going to the YC because the buses that run from AK to AKL are pretty quick.

Yes, Animal Kingdom Lodge is both Kidani village and Jambo House
