AKL guests being transferred to gf Question

I have been reading a lot about akl guests being moved to gf because of the construction going on at the akl. Some posted that the poly is full and that is why they are going to gf. Well my question is since they are giving these people standard rooms do u think they will upgrade the pople already staying at gf in a standard to make room for the akl pople? Disney called my Ta last week about if i wanted to pay to upgrade to a themepark view which we thought was odd. Our thought was maybe they were trying to get me to pay for what they are giving me anyway when i get there. sorry long and rambling.

its possible. I would simply stay put in the room you have, I would not pay the difference. If you get an upgrade, great if not, you still have a great room at a beautiful resort.

My guess is that they want you to pay for the upgrade room. If you don't they'll move the AKL guests into those rooms for their inconvenience.
