My daughter, age 10, and my friend's daughter, age 8, got to do this during Easter Week. They enjoyed it but felt it would be more fun for younger children. I believe it's for ages 4-12. 4-8 might be a better range but each child is different... The girls really liked getting to sample some African foods (which they convinced us moms to sample in Boma that evening) and they got to learn a bit about African animals... They gave them cute safari guide straw hats and walked them around different areas of the resort; they did a craft but they did so many crafts that week that I am not sure which one was at the camp... they got cute little knapsacks, a small stuffed animal (monkey in my dd's case), a photo taken with Timon who stopped by

they were enjoying Mickey bars when we went to retrieve them
I think I would recommend it for younger children if you're staying at AKL and planning to spend the day at the resort and need a little adult time to yourself.
