Thanks. I updated my photo to show where I grew up. I am totally getting home sick. We always go to California, but this year we are doing the Disney thing. Maybe I just need a vacation. I bought a new Danielle Steel book to read on the balcony while the kids take naps.

Does anyone know how you go about doing a room request...I read that its better to deal directly with the hotel. But what does that mean?

I always have my TA put my request on my package papers and have eithe gotten what I asked or been able to switch at checkin!! For examplefor my May trip I put 1st floor ,50's 60'sor 70's . Always put your main request first !! I have also heard that many fax in a request about 5 - 7 days ahead to the hotel !! I gotta go check the PP info again in case I need more before you leave !!

So we went to the next town over...10 minutes. They were having garage sale days and I always go to the same ladies! I got Jenny & Austin a few outfits, BUT...I got a bassinet, Ocean Wonder Bouncy Seat, Fish Price Horse, Jeep Umbrella Stroller (to bring to WDW for the days we don't want the dbl and the trip home) plus tons of toys. I was so excited! Now I just need to find an exacauser. It may be my 1 new purchase....unless my sil wants to part with hers. Well I need to go move some laundry.

I gave in and am going to work for 2 hours tonight to help out! Ugh

So a late afternoon run to the ER for us? Yep, thats right. Austin woke up from his nap with a rash over his entire body, his behind was fire engine red and he was very uncomfortable. Ugh~ The verdict a strep rash. What now??? So we got Benadryl, Antibotic ointment for his bottom and we are continuing the meds. Can it be Wed. yet? My mom the nurse sent me home with mask to wear on the plane. She does not want us going. Ugh~~~

I am going to be the one by the pool at AKL with a little umbrella drink in my hand, a good book, and sunglasses. My husband is going to be the one in the pool with the kids. I need to RELAX

Yikes! When I read that he had that rash I was totally thinking scarlet fever. Hope he recovers quickly!

After all of the packing, the moving, the trip planning, job quitting, ear infections and rash, you definitely deserve a break. Hopefully you will get some much need stress relief on your trip. Hope Austin starts to feel better soon. He's had it pretty rough.

Oh my goodness!! You do need to relax. And a hug . You need to have the waiter mixing you another drink as soon as each one is delivered !!! I would wear the masks on the plane. I am going to take some with me and if it looks like people are sniffing, snorting and sneezing at Disney out they will come.

Poor Austin, I hope he gets better soon. Oh yeah, did you tell your boss bye bye ?

Actually I had agreed to go in for 2 hours last night before all this happened. So I had to call and say sorry. Then I said I would come with Austin while Jenny was in school this morning, but they said no. Could I try and come some other time this weekend? Are you kidding me... No one wants to watch my son now. Not even gma. Who bless her heart is on call tomorrow. Ugh! They knew my family and my husbands farming were number one when they hired me. I don't know what is going to happen. I just want to go in and clean out my desk and be done now. I am interested to see my final paycheck and see if I got my vacation pay. My boss thinks he has a lot of money, so no one will mess with him. But this isn't a small town girl he is dealing with!!!

What kind of business is it? If you don't mind me asking. If they don't want you to bring Austin with you how do you think you are going to work then? Leave him with Jenny? You can bet if it were his family that was sick he would not be going in to work. I know the type though. It is just like Dale's boss. They expect him to come to work sick or well. He worked for 2 1/2 weeks sick as a dog. They wouldn't let him off to go to the doctor . I told him that is why you call in BEFORE you go in, don't go in and then expect to be let off.

You stick to your guns girl, don't let them make you feel bad about being a good mother!!

Its a GM Dealership. I have heard nightmares since I started about the boss. I have a hard time, though, since I am not from here I don't really know anyone that I am not related to or worked with in the past. I learned...I called and left a message saying I could come in tomorrow for about an hour while my niece watches the kids, but no one responded to me.

So I went to Sears which is an hour each way today to get Austins photos. Upon arrival they tell me or sorry those films did not turn out and we need to reshoot. Are you kidding me? A 2 hr trip for nothing and Austin is in sweats since I had no plans of having photos done. So we are now getting rescheduled and they will mail us this set of photos when they come in. Good grief!

I mad dashed through Target grabbing a container of clorox wipes, nite glo necklaces, spf 30 chapstick, waterproof ear plufs, shout wipes, downy wrinkle releaser, and a pair of I Love Mickey socks for Austin. I love the dollar bins there. I think that was everything I had forgotten.

Now my good news. I called AKL this morning and got the nicest CM I have ever talked to...He is going to get a high chair for our room and he said he would put is in a nice "quiet" location with a great view! Awe...1 week from tomorrow at this time and we will be landing in Sunny Florida.

So goals for this weekend:

1. Pack

2. Move everything out of room in basement so....Jason can measure for carpet. (While Austin naps tomorrow)

3. Clean house, do laundry, etc.

4. Get eyebrows waxed and Jennys hair cut.

Off to spend some alone time with Jenny watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 her favorite. Need to order season 3/4 for her birthday!!!

So um is was a great Saturday if your goal was to spend it with family. Just got back form my sil. I did decide to put the kids in their own carrys ons and ditch the idea of them sharing 1 big suitcase. But other than that....I spent most of the afternoon cleaning the Durango. Its a 4 hr drive to the airport and it was a mess. It look so pretty now! So tomorrow night I need to pack. The basement is waiting untill we return from vacation!!!

Wow....I never tjought we'd make it here when we began the 100 day countdown calendar. 1 week and counting!
