So I am home again...and most likely tomorrow. We see the surgeon tomorrow at 2. Part me of says lets get this over with and the other part says...this is the 1st time he has ever been sick. Jenny had tubes at 5 months though, so we are no stranger and tonsils and adenoids at 2. They told me Austins tonsils are as big as his sisters were. Great!

How many days until single digits??? Austin is trying to get my attention. He climbs on your lap and laughs in your ear. Too funny!!!

Ah man! Sorry about Austin's ear infections!! I hope that everything goes well at the drs appt. Brad had tubes when he was little. My friend's little girl got tubes and is doing great now. At least you found out before the trip. Now he can get better!

Sorry to hear about Austin's ear infection! Claire has one, too! She is finally beginning to act like herself again! I hope the tubes help him from getting them so much!

My family was sick last week and I thought by the time we saw them on Sunday we were ok. But yesterday when I got Austin up from his nap...I started to feel really weak. I took my temp and it was 102. By last night I had the stomach issues. I had to take Tylenol to sleep because my whole body just ached. Ugh! Hopefully if anyone else is going to get it...they get it soon! I feel like a mac truck hit me and I just want to crawl back into bed. Jason took Jenny to daycare today, so I just have Austin. Thank goodness he just wants to sleep alot. I will try and post more after our Dr. app. today. Got to go...I can hear paper tearing.

OH NO!! Keep us updated. The doctor may want a swab of your nose or throat. Did Austin get the Synagis shots? Jenny would be old enough now to not really worry about RSV. I am sure you are well educated on RSV since both your babies were premature.

They are going to check Austin the day before we leave and give him a shot of Rocifin if needed. He has just been sleeping a lot! Poor buddy! The meds are so hard on his system. Although the probiotic seems to be helping. Jenny had RSV, but knock on more wood not Austin. Jenny caught everything! I am still keeping my fingers crossed Austin will get tubes before we leave. This will be the 1st time Jenny has flown without them, but at least now she can chew gum!

So I went online and ordered Jenny and Austin a Mickey Welcome basket from Disney Florist. Actually I called in so I could have it customized. I got them both Mickey ears with their names on them and autograph books. We have an 8:05 adr the 1st morning at Crystal Palace and I didn't want to be searching for an autograph book. Can't wait to see the look on Jennys face when it arrives to the room!

Well we just returned from the ENT. Austin has preop on Monday and surgery on Wed. I need to get some ear plugs made but I will have to find some wax and an ear bandit for the trip to WDW. He told me to bring Afrin for Jenny and if the flight bugs her to let her squirt it up her nose once. Helps open the nasal passage and clear the ears...thought I would post that for anyone else who has troubles!

My boss is not being super nice. Ugh! I gave almost a months notice and now with every thing that is going on...I probably won't be back. They are trying to convince me to find some one to watch Austin Friday and Saturday. Yeah...lots of luck there, both our parents work and Jason is in the field when he is not working. Plus this weekend he is shingling. Don't they understand I didn't ask for this to happen?

I am so worried about my ds on the flight! I have twin 3 year olds. My ds had tubes when he was 1 1/2 year old. They have fallen out, he hasn't had an ear infection forever. I am worried about flying with the ears, since I have heard horror stories! I hope they are all ok!!

Hopefully he will be totally over it all when your plane touches down in Orlando!!

What a meanie!! If I were you, I just wouldn't go back. What are they gonna do, fire you? I wonder what happened to compassion. Your child is sick and he needs his mom. You have been feeling bad too so you need to get well so you can take care of Austin. You need to set you up a spa reservation at the GF while you are at Disney. You deserve it!!!!!!!

Thanks. I updated my photo to show where I grew up. I am totally getting home sick. We always go to California, but this year we are doing the Disney thing. Maybe I just need a vacation. I bought a new Danielle Steel book to read on the balcony while the kids take naps.

Does anyone know how you go about doing a room request...I read that its better to deal directly with the hotel. But what does that mean?
