Akershus ADR & 1/2 marathon

We've got a 9:10 a.m. ADR for the 22nd at Akershus... do you foresee any problems with us getting to it with the 1/2 marathon going on? Should we leave earlier than usual?

I'd definitely leave extra time. The runs mess up traffic patterns, quite badly.

That said, how much depends on where you're coming from and where you're going to. One thing I might consider is parking at DHS and taking the boat across, entering through the World Showcase - but others who have done this before might have better recommendations. If you are taking Disney transport, maybe just leave yourself an extra half hour.

(I've been in the area for RunDisney events twice - the first time I took Disney transport everywhere and the second I was a participant, so I'm not the best source for this! But yes, definitely extra time!)

This is all a moot point now, unfortunately. Our flight out was canceled today. We can't get to Disney World until Monday now and there's absolutely no open ADR's for Akershus for our entire week there. Out of all the difficulties we've had getting things rescheduled today, our lost ADR has definitely been the most upsetting. The girls were all looking forward to it so much.
