AK safari- when does FP begin each morn?

Quick question:

Are fastpass machines operating at park opening for the Safari? If so, roughly when are the return times? We plan to attend on a day of moderate attendance in March.

Idon't know if they're open right at park opening, but I know they're open within about 15 minutes. We always take our time going over to the safari, then grab a FP (return time is usually about 1/2 hour away, but stand-by time is less), go thru the Pangani Forest Trail, then get right on the safari.

FP is open at park opening. The first return-time is usually for a half hour after opening
