AK parade

We will be in the AK Sunday and have never seen the parade so we don't want to miss it since it ends this month.

What is the best place to watch the parade with the shortest wait? How long before do we have to stake a spot?

Anyone have a map of the route?

Considering the parade basically blocks most walk ways around the park (I find it annoying and glad it's going away lol), any spot along the parade route is good viewing area. I've never stopped to watch the parade, but I've basically watched the entire thing walking next/around it. So you can get a spot 20-30 min ahead of time like some people, or just snag a spot right when it starts.

I'm sure there's a few ideal spots, but as long as you're along the route, I've never seen a bad spot)

You can see the parade from basically anywhere and you don't have to arrive too early for it. I recommend getting a ice cream and sitting down 15 minutes before it starts. I maybe I'm a minority, but I enjoy the parade. I think it's pretty cool and completely different than the parade in MK.

Glad I saw it when we did. We're not going to WDW this year, sadly, and it won't be there next year when we go back. I actually enjoyed the parade, but then again, I'm a parade person.

A great spot is where it begins. Before the safari and if you are lucky you can get a spot to sit down.
