AK or MGM 1st day?

This is for last wk of March. We're supposed to arrive 11am to the airport. I had planned to go straight to MGM and tour until ADR at 7:20. Should I change to a shorter day at AK? They close at 6pm. Is that enought time for 2nd-timers w/ kids 10 and 13? I don't think we'd make the bus ride again from BC to catch what we miss the 1st day.

Just a thought, but...

After traveling all morning and then getting checked in, you may choose an easier day at MGM for your first day. The boat ride to and from the BC is very relaxing.

Also, with Expedition Everest at AK, it may be better to get there earlier on another day in hopes of getting to ride it (if that is important to you and your family).

I'd stick with MGM. You also might want to check for EMH hrs. I know on March 27th MGM has them in the evening. What day will you be arriving?

ALso, MGM is generally open later than AK. Plus, you may be able to catch Fantasmic that evening also. We'll be at the YC the first of APril, I'm planning on EPCOT of MGM for arrival evening.

I don't know if it works for you, but we really enjoy going to Epcot on our arrival afternoon. It just seems so much more relaxed than the other three at that time of day, and attractions that later in the week would be snoozers are really exciting and fun on the first day.

Thank you for your replies. I'll stop over-thinking and stick w/ original plan. Brian, we also like going over to Epcot in the afternoon. That's why we're staying at BC this time.
