I've tried to start this thread like 6 times, so I'm rewriting it instead of using copy. Hopefully it will post this time!
To the subject at hand: I was planning to go through AK in about 6 hours (Safari, Dinosaur, Tough to Be a Big and Conservation Station, plus a couple of the walks). Was planning to be there at opening, and hopefully leave around 2:30 - 3:00. We plan to spend the afternoon/evening at DTD, mainly DisneyQuest for DS. It looks like it's doable, or am I just dreaming?

We've done AK the same way several times! It's always worked well for us! Have a great trip!

Sorry to not answer your question, but I couldn't resist this when I saw your screen name.

Boomer Sooners!!!

If you can hang on until 4, you can see the parade....i'm not sure if it is on your priority list though! You also might want to check out Primeval Whirl, and the Lion King show but other than that, AK can probably be done in the times you have set! :)

Looks good to me, we usually don't spend an entire day in AK. We usually will stop by there a few times during the week, but we have been able to complete the major attractions and shows in 1/2 day several times.

We've never stayed more than 1/2 day at AK. We've usually split up the day doing AK in a.m. then MGM, DTD or MVMCP to finish it up!

Enjoy your trip.

Kim

Also if you're going in March- you may want to check about Expedition Everst (it you're interested in that type of thing). Kali River Rapids is good fun too! I think you can easily spend a good 7 hours at AK if you visit the shows, ride all the attractions, and take your time looking at the nature trails, etc.

You can easily see all you want of AK in 1/2 day. We have never stayed a whole day at AK. That's not saying that we don't like AK, we love this park. It's just not a whole day type park to us.

Does this also hold true if you have never been to AK?
We won't be doing Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, It's Tought To Be A Bug, Triceratop Spin, Tarzan or Primeval Whirl because the kids are either too little or have no interest. I've heard really good things about the parade but we're not really parade people.
Would 9:00-2:00 suffice for us (CS lunch around 11:00) or would there still be enough to occupy us until parade time even without doing the attractions listed above?
