I just read that the Boneyard in AK will be closed for rehab during our visit in Oct. Will my kids 9-12 be upset that we missed it or is it for smaller children anyway? Thanks

It usually has a lot of younger children but all children are welcome. They won't miss anything being 9-12.

My DDs 10 and 13 love the Boneyard! DD13's favorite thing to do at AK is dig up the 'buried' dinosaur fossil on the far side of the boneyard. Last trip she spent over an hour there, getting sand all over her. I thought at age 13 that she'd be over it by now, but she still loves to dig (future archaeologist (sp?)) - she digs big holes in the sand at the beach, looking for buried stuff.

Kids love the boneyard because it is getting down to the basics, and even though they love all the attractions at disney, this seems to settle them down a bit.....my daughter would be very sad if we were there & it was down....a definate time to chill out for both kids & parents.....
