AirTran keeps changing our flights

I booked our September trip in May. Last week I received an email that our departing flight had been pushed back an hour (no big deal, but 1 less hour at WDW-lol). Today I learned our non-stop return flight had been changed to a connecting flight. We depart at the same time but stop in Atlanta for 2 hours, change planes, and head back to Philadelphia. This is not cool. When I booked I checked the non-stop flights only box because we have small children and I am not interested in anything but non-stop. Also, I already paid to chose our seats--do I have to pay again to book our seats on this 3rd flight? What should I do now?

We had this happen a few times. If you email them they'll say something like they're sorry and they reserve the right to change flights. They offered us a full refund without a penalty or changing flights if we didn't want to stick with the flight we had.

First - see if there is another non-stop flight you'd rather be on. Then CALL (don't e-mail) AirTran and ask them to put you on that flight. They should also give you assigned seats on the new flight without your having to pay again.

The same thing happened to us for our sept vacation. I received an email stating that our flights had changed. I went onto their website and picked what flight I wanted an it automatically applied the $ I paid for the original seats to the new ones I picked.

Hope you get what you want!!

Tracie

Ps. If my flight is listed with no price next to it does that mean the flight is sold out?

Thanks!!
