I booked return only flights for our June trip and realized yesterday that they are now charging for checked bags.

We missed the cut off by 6 days. I am wondering if anyone has traveled since then. Did you have to count your stroller as a checked bag? I am going to have my 12 year old and my 2 year old. She will be sitting in her carseat. Will that be her personal item?

We are driving down and leaving a car at my moms for future trips. DH is leaving on the 10th and the kids and i are leaving the 17th.

TIA

If you "check" your stroller at the gate, and not at the counter, you won't be charged for it. ( Walk it down the Jetway and leave it at the door to the plane when you board, and you pick it up in the same spot when you get to MCO. ) And if your DD is using the car seat on the plane, I don't beleive that you will be charged for that either.

Have a great trip.

Thanks that makes planning so much easier. We won't be flying to mco just home and I did not want to pack too much that I wold not be able to get back home without DH.:)

This is an amazing deal! $140 round trip to be used at any time before 12/31/09. Has anyone ever used this deal before? I only have a voucher # and then call later to apply to a flight. The only problem is that only 40% of the seats on a plane are designated for this price. I want to make sure I get one of those seats :scared1:

ETA - I'm sorry - I thought I was starting a new thread!!
