Just checked AirTran's website. Fares are posted for Dec and Jan. Good luck to everyone looking. :cool1:

This is not good. :sad2: Just checked my dates, best price I could find was $1487.60 for 4 r/t tickets Indy to Orlando. We have paid $546.00 for the same 4 r/t on SW the past 2 trips. Hopefully SW will beat this price when they release their dates. :confused3

No good for our dates either. $568 per ticket :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

There is no way I would pay that price.

Decembers flights have been out for awhile, I think that is why you are not getting good rates. I think you'll have to wait until they have their sale for the fall and winter. Right now their sales are for travel up to October.
Our trip is 12/4=12/9 and I know those flights were up in the middle of April because I was checking flight then. I opted to go with USair because I got our round trip tickets for $123.00 each!

Hopefully you will be able to use them.....never know that far out with US AIR. :confused3

We usually book our Dec. flights in Sept. That's when I've found the lowest prices. But I guess if you're booking for the holidays you'd probably have to weigh price vs. availability.

Fares were previously released for flights up to Dec 15 only. It's the holiday fares that have just been posted.

We have gone many times for the holidays and never paid more than $240 round trip from Philly or Atlantic City. The prices Air Trans just released for the Christmas holiday this year are more than double. There is no way people will pay these prices.

Yes, the flights were only out thru 12/15, now they are released thru 1/11 only, and of course, we need 1/13! I think you'll see the prices drop as the rates were higher when they first came out for December and have dropped (at least from ROC to MCO) . If they don't then shop with another carrier! GL! :)

The prices for our dates are outrageous and I checked as soon as they were released. I will not pay $480 p/p, I would rather drive. Even our flight home on 1/4 is $175 which is rediculous. We could book for $190 right now through Delta but then we would have a layover. I am waiting for SW. Their highest rate for any flight out of Philly is not that high so I know I can get a better rate unless the whole flight sells out before I book.

I just booked for $217 out of Indy - including taxes and all. Our catch is that we are flying on Thanksgiving Day...about $35 more than a "regular" day. I didn't want to chance not getting a flight when I needed it, so I went ahead and booked. DANG>>>> I miss ATA! :guilty:

I thought it was just me or something. The price for roudtrip for our dates in December are over $350 per person and that's out of Akron or Pit. We will not be paying those type of prices for airfare! I don't want to drive though. It's home to talk to DH tonight and see what he wants to do.

I got mine for $211 through Disney on AirTran, have not seen them for less than $278 on the AirTran site and they are now more expensive through Disney also. I think I paid about $220 last November so I am happy!!

Shelly ,

I don't know if this will work for you but try it I got a really good deal for my 10/26 trip to Mco and 11/5 trip back to phila . Usa3000 airlines is starting to fly from Phila to Mco come august! And I got $59.00 each way! For 5 people that is awesome! Their website is www.usa3000.com the only downfall is they only fly certain days but if you can move you're vacation by a day or two you can get a great deal! Unless they are flying you're days then that's even better! I paid $652.00 for 5 Rountrip Tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce:

I don't think I would fly USA3000 only because we are going on a cruise with 20 other people. I don't want to risk flying an airline that only flies one flight and not every day. We paid a fortune for this Disney cruise during Christmas and I just don't think we can take the chance. If we were going to WDW I sure would consider it. Thanks for the thought though!

Shelly depending on which day you are flying USA3000 out of phila is starting flights to Orlando come August! I got my October 26th, 2005 to MCo and My 11/04/2005 return to Phl for $59.00 each way! It was $652.00 for 5 People! Very good deal especially if you're basing on Spirit Air Rates right now oh! My! If you want to check it out their website is www.usa3000.com! Maybe this will help you out the only downside is they only fly certain days every month! In the Month's I'm flying they fly Mon, Wens , Fri , Sun! If you put in you're dates it will tell you of they are or aren't available but after that it will tell you the next closest dates to you're dates to incase you are flexible and can change a day or too! Hope it helps!
