I did a search and can't find the answer, but hope someone knows what to do. We are leaving in 30 days :cool1: flying on Airtran, but we booked through DW. I know when we flew on Airtran in the past I would get an email a day or so before telling me to do online check-in no sooner than 24 hours before departure. If I have booked through DW and all communication has been through DW, I assume I won't receive this email. Do I still need to check-in or will DW do it? :confused3

I hope this makes sense.....

Thanks so much! I just love the DISboards!!!!!

You don't have to check-in, it's not like Southwest where how good your seats are depend on it. I just flew AirTran last month and never checked in, did it at the airport each time, and it was fine :thumbsup2

Oh, I know last year when we flew Airtran and I booked directly through them I received an email to check-in online no earlier than 24 hours before my flight. Maybe they have changed. :confused3 Seems to me that if you pay for a flight and you have bought your seats, you wouldn't need to check in before arriving at the airport, but I don't fly a lot, so really not up to speed on it.

Thanks!!!!
