Airport security and the sequester

My DH and I have been trying to figure out what time we need to leave for the airport when we depart from home (we have ME on the way back so that's out of our hands), and we're not sure if need to allow more time or not. We leave at 6:30 am from the smaller of two airports in Minneapolis. Security is not usually that bad at this airport, and we are leaving on a Thursday morning.

Has anyone flown recently and can speak to whether there are greater than normal delays at security? I realize it varies from airport to airport, but I'm just wondering if we can let our kids sleep an extra half hour and get picked up at 4:30 (we only live 15 mins from the airport) or if we should go for the whole two hours and leave at 4.

1) The furloughs don't start until April 1. So no one will have any information on how they affect security. OT has been cut for a while, but as you mention, it varies from airport to airport. I would ask around your (and DH's) workplace to see how things have progressed there. Find out it takes 2 1/2 hours (just as a guess) in Atlanta now doesn't mean there are delays at your airport.
2) Your departure time IS still in your control (somewhat) with DME. Just let DME know what time you want to be at the airport. If your flight leaves at 5pm (for example) but you want to get there extra early, tell them your flight leaves at 4.

I've flown several times recently and have noticed NO CHANGE in the amount of time it takes me to get through security.
