Does anyone know when Southwest and Airtran will release their Dec 2010 fares. Our Dec trip is all set except for airline tickets and I am getting anxious to purchase. All the other major airlines have Dec published already.

SW will release their schedule and fares for Dec on June 10th. Not sure about Airtran.

AirTran already has their December airfares posted.

They're spotty. Some dates still don't have any flights/ fares posted. Some have all the flights, but only the most expensive fares. Some have all the fares for specific flights, while others still only have the expensive ones.

I'm hoping they'll have them all posted within the next day or two.

SW is much slower than other airlines in posting their future dates. Why? Simply because they don't make many changes once those flights are listed. If you book a flight with SW, you are pretty safe in the knowledge that you will be on the flight you booked...with no changes. Other airlines make mulitiple changes to their flights after they open their booking windows.
Even JB has started making more changes than they used to.
