After Cruise to WL best way

After the cruise, we are staying at WL for a few days. I need help in figuring out how to get there.

I would like to stay away from the cruise line bus, but if we do take it:

1. How much does it cost 1 way per person.
2. Do you have to ride to MCO, or is there a bus direct to WDW resorts, and I am assuming they stop at each resort to drop off, so...lengthy.

Car Rental, I would like to do this, but don't want to drop off car at airport. Have any of you had experience (which company) in having it picked up at your resort or being shuttled to your resort?

Town car direct is probably my best option but seems so costly, I wanted to check out any other options. Is there one I am not even thinking about?

First...the DCL bus is $25.00 per person one way.

Yes, some buses go directly to the resorts, not the airport.

If you rent a car you can pick it up in Cocoa Beach but must return it to the airport as I do not think any of the rental offices in Cocoa have a branch at WDW. You could take the DCL bus from ship to WDW but then would have to do a Mears shuttle back to airport when you are done at WDW but Mears is also about $20 or so pp to the airport so you would not really save any money.

Why not return the car to the airport?....it is very simple and well marked. We do it all the time.

Hi. I have been looking into the same transportation options. I know that you can book the towncar MCO to port to WDW to MCO for $235 fltours.com and looks like port to WDW is around $100 but there are $5 off coupons on most of the sites. You can arrange the Disney busses but if you are not staying at one of the cruise hotels they won't pick up or drop off there - at the transportation and ticket center. That is why I started looking into other options because the CR is not one of the cruise hotels.
POR POFQ, CB, Poly, BC, AKL, Swan & Dolphin, GF.

We will probably book with Fltours if we go to WL or CR after our cruise; if not, we will just stay with Disney bus.
