Aft Extended Balcony Reviews?

We had one at the back on deck 10 of the Dream last year, Southampton to Spain & back

The extend balcony was hugh

Able to use it in Southampton but for rest of cruise while at sea it was raining so could not use it for sun bathing, grandchildren enjoyed playing on it in the rain

No soot, but you could smell the engine exhaust gases at times while in port

Do you know if the connecting rooms with the extended balcony are able to open the balconies to create a larger one?

Yes they do. You'll just have to ask your Stateroom Host to open the door in-between.
You can see the 'in-between' door open in this picture, right beside the door to the stateroom.
