Aer Lingus Summer flights

So tempted...We really can't do two trips in a year though...
Go on, treat yourself. :)
Don't think we are going to Florida next year :scared1:
Looking into another trip around New Orleans & Nashville Mar/Apr then Transatlantic DCL in Sept

We have been "trying more places" but still manage a FL trip somehow :rolleyes1

I so want to book with Are Lingus but they don't fly on a Friday or a Sunday and we want to sneak in a couple of extra days. If we book with these it will mean exactly three weeks and not three weeks two day as my partner can't get the Thursday off :0( xx

Grrrr just noticed that my prices have gone up £30 isn per person since last night x

Looking at the Business Class fares on both sites are ridiculous !!! :rotfl2:
Same flights via Opodo are under half of what Aer Lingus were quoting me

We are all good thanks, going upto Lancaster this afternoon, a night on campus, Uni bar crawl. Matt got First Class Honours in his degree, just started a Masters Degree now, also Assistant Dean of his college, Comments editor for Uni newspaper, Student ambassador..............
I reckon he will stay on as long as they will have him, he loves it up there.
I am still around, still getting used to this new format, some things are better but others not so much. Plus we really haven't done Disney for 2 years now (just the odd day when free) so I leave a lot of Disney replies to other people who have better knowledge.
Hope you, Sue & Emma are all well.

That's great news!!! pass on our congratulations, it will soon be pay back time for you:rolleyes1
Emma has done really well with her GCSE's. She is now studying Maths, Pure Maths, Physics, Economics and General Studies for AS/A Level.
8 students from her school have had Oxbridge offers. She is undecided whether to focus on Astrophysics or Forensics.
Hopefully, payback time for us in the near future :rotfl2:

We are doing our longest stay next year in Orlando........5 weeks :jumping1:
Mart keeps telling me .........It's tough life being a pensioner :rotfl:
Sithee :thumbsup2

Can you book via Opodo? I've never really looked there as I usually book direct with the airline xx

Yes . We booked 2016 BHX-DUB-MCO biz class and it was less than half of what Aer Lingus quote on their web site. We also did same route this year via an agent and got a similar price to opodo :):)

Thats brilliant. I'm going to have a look for August. We ideally want to fly Fri 12th Aug to 4th Sept ideally from MAN to MCO but will go from anywhere in the UK to anywhere in Florida for a cheap deal!

I would love to go for five weeks. Next year would have been the year as son breaks up end of June as GCSE year but unlikely I could get that long off work. Usually able to get 23 days no problem so will have to be happy with that. Can't wait to be back at Bonnet Creek.
My son will be studying similar A levels, maths, further maths, economics, history, not decided if there will be a 5th subject yet. Sounds difficult but will be worth it. He just did a mock maths GCSE, 96%. I hope he can keep it up.

This year was our shortest stay for a good while, which was a strangle feeling coming back in mid-August.....we needed to get back for DD GCSE results - (as school required A*-A grades in the chosen three main AS/A level subjects and three B grades in any of the other subjects). We are going out 23-July - 27 Aug 2016.
:offtopic: You are quite right, it is a lot to handle for the students. I was fortunate in working for the same large international Aerospace company for over 40 years. they financed my further education (BSc,MSc & CEng) and also paid me a decent salary at the same time, which enabled me to retire quite early.
Encourage and support your son as much as possible. I would suggest start looking towards a broad career field even at this early stage as it can greatly help in the future, if you are employed in your chosen career whilst studying, rather than being a full time student with no income. Education is paramount and it is a great pity that it costs so much to self finance. There are a lot of highly qualified people out there, with no paid income at the end of it all. Good luck for the future studies. :offtopic:
By the way..............................I heard Aer Lingus have had some decent flight prices recently! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
