This isn't really a problem with the DIS even though I see the problem on the forums here. I thought that I would ask in case someone has dealt with this problem before.
DH downloaded something somehow that has added kind of a nuisance to our PC. He doesn't know what he did. The result is that we now have underlined words all throughout the forums and if you run the pointer over those words an ad pops up. The ads go away and don't appear if you avoid the words but it's starting to annoy me.
Has anyone here ever dealt with this? We have coverage by McAfee but I can't find anything on their site that deal with this unless I've just overlooked it.
ETA - right now McAfee was underlined on this post which is ironic. I say "was" because often if I edit it goes away. Also the posts that have this have weird addresses. This one is http: // www.disboards.com / showthread.php? p=40855488 #post40855488 (no spaces)
