Advice please about tickets....

I am now trying to decide on what tickets to get for our Univesal stage of our trip. I will need 5 passes total. We are staying 5 nights (my husband will be staying 3). I know that I will get an AP with the BK deal for myself. So here is what I need advice on.

Should I just get the remaining 4 at the 5 day passes? Or would it be better to get an AP for my 14 year old since he will be in the park on his own with a friend. This would enable him to get discounts on food and merchandise correct? I'm also thinking that when my friend and her son leave on Sun. and my husband flies in on Sun. that my son and husband will go off together to do things in the parks. At least they will have an AP for discounts, so maybe all I need to get are three 5 day passes.

So two APs, and three 5 day. Does that make the most sense? Or do I just spend the extra money and get APs for everyone? This is making my head spin LOL!

Your son could use a Fan Club Card to get the food and shop discounts also if you didnt get him an AP. Or even a AAA card if you have one.

OR, you could get one PAP and 4 Annual Power passes. I would figure out if you plan on returning again within the next year.

Good luck deciding. I just went through this in March...we ended up getting the family AP's and have already used them twice and will again in December. It sure does make your head spin!

I think what I am going to do is get the PAP for myself and for my 14 year old. We will be staying 5 nights, so for the other two boys I will get the APs (can I get those at the BK 2year for the price of 1?). Can I upgrade these if I find I am going at a busy (holiday) time of year? As far as my husband goes, we will buy his at the park because there is a slight chance he might not make it.

JessicaR is the 20% off good at the park or just ordering online?Do you know if I could get the discount on the BK special? If so I'll only order my PAP and get the rest at the park.

I'm pretty sure the 20% off only discounts multi day tickets not either of the AP's. I asked that question when I bought the kids and was told no dicounts on AP's using an AP. I would call Universal and ask, maybe this particular promotion will allow it.

The Burger King deal is only good for purchasing the PAP's. Good Luck!

How much is the BK PAP ticket and how long is it good for? Can anyone get the burger king discount? I need as much information on that, I was all set to but 3day/2 park ticket that doesn't expire, but now depending on how long the AP ticket is good for, I might be better off getting that. Thank you

It costs $169.95 (pretty sure that's the price), and the offer is a buy 1 year get 1 free. Anyone can get it , there is another thread about it, and also the code you need.
It Must be activated by Sept. 30, 2003.
