I will celebrate . . .

1. My 10th wedding anniversary! : (Well, technically, it will be my 11th I suppose as our 10th is next month, making it this year, not next)

2. The health of my 3 amazing minnie mice!

3. The planning of another amazing return trip to Disney World . . .

4. Anything and everything that makes me SMILE!

5. Finding this place! What a friendly bunch!


Out of curiosity . . . are there any others out there who applied and received the application accepted e-mail, and were not invited into the 2nd round but did not receive the "consolation" message? I would like to be a member of the "Mickey Mom's Club" even though I was not invited to the next round for the mom's panel....

Wingedheart's post made me think of the "morning story" our son (8) wrote last week. He's in the 2nd grade, and at the start of each day, his teacher puts the beginning of a sentence on the board. The students are to complete the sentence and write a "short story" about it. The first part of the sentence went like this..."The happiest time of my life is when...".

He filled it in like this: "The happiest time of my life is when I go to Disney" and he proceded to write all about his Disney memories. He was so excited to share this short story with "Welcome to Disney" as the title.

Isn't just wonderful that we all have this "happiest place on earth" to share with our children?!?! I just love that we are making a lifetime of magical memories.

I completely agree!

It is a goal of mine that both of my children will remember going to Disney as some of their first memories. I hope yearly (at least), Disney vacations are a tradition they will pass on to their children someday!

Yeah, thats correct...I havent had a consolation message (as I am a 2nd rounder...ok ok, I was looking for an excuse to say it AGAIN ) but Ive been able to enter Mickey Moms Club and its great!!

That worked - and I'm giggling because while I clicked in my daughter opened up her little music box we got just last week so I had the wondeful sound of a music box "You can Fly" playing as the website unfolded...

NEAT! I guess I can officially say that I am a member of the Mickey Mom's Club - woohoo! Here's hoping that there will be a 2010 panel and that maybe I'll squeak in next time to share the love!

Now I'm just waiting for the UPS man to come with my Photopass CD . . .
