Yes, I'm a secretary here -- and I love my job. I've been a member of Disboards for probably 5-6 years and usually don't write much, but love the excitement and enthusiasm you all have.

I moved here about 2.5 years ago from Indiana and have been with Disney for 2 years. It's the dream "retirement" job for an ex-University secretary.

What University in Indiana? My wife is a textbook rep here in Indiana.

I don't get here much, but had to share my news with SOMEONE!! I just got off the phone scheduling my round 3 interview - and I'm the first one on the phone!! Talk about stress!!! They gave me the first interview time slot.

So much to worry about between now and Tuesday! What does one wear to a telephone interview? Should I wear the fuzzy bunny slippers or the Crocs with no toes which are too comfy to throw away??

Oh my gosh - good luck to all of you who have made it on to the final round!!

I scheduled my interview also. It looks like I'm right after you! Of course, now I'm worried that I sounded like a total doofus on the phone because I was so excited and nervous when I got the call!

Lots of to those that didn't!! Hopefully you all recover from the news quickly. As I'm learning with my son in the Cub Scouts, all you can do, is "do your best." If so, then other great opportunities will surely come your way!

You were ALL well qualified for the opportunity -- at this point I think there is a lot of luck and serendipity involved in these final decisions.

Congratulations to everyone moving on to round 3! Try not to stress too much this weekend! I didn't plan anything at all and completely winged my interview, and I turned out ok. Hakuna Matata!

I'm moving on to round 3 as well!!! My poor 4 year old, I read the email and started jumping up and down and cheering. She said, "why are we so excited??" I said, "Disney"! So she started running around saying, "Yay, I love Disney too!!"

Congratulations to all of the rest of you who are moving on...and sending lots of hugs to those who didn't. I made it to round 2 last year...and remember the feeling of not going on to round 3. I'll be keeping the best of thoughts for all of you for 2010.

Wow...I'm SO excited and a bit nervous about the phone interviews.

It appears if people have already gotten the scheduling calls that I definately did not make it this year. The upside is that I can use it as an excuse to cheat on my diet and dive into a nice Stage Deli cheesecake!!

Well, I shared with Partyof5 privatly that I did indeed make it to the 2nd round, but I didn't hear anything either about the 3rd round.

I was a finalist last year and was so surprised to make it to the 2nd round this year. I was trying not to be too excited when I found out, but I secretly wanted to make it ALOT! I didn't even share with my family as they knew how sad I was last year...BUT, I am still so excited that I did make it to round 2 and fine that it ended today!

I hope all of you that didn't make it to the 3rd round can be proud that something you wrote made you stand out initially! Your love for Disney did indeed shine through and that is something to cherish!

You guys are truly very awesome and kind hearted, all of you out there on this thread!

I wish those of you that made it through to the third round the best of luck and I hope you can pass the time calmly (ha!).

Goodness! It sounds like Disney really narrowed down the field. (Or maybe it simply feels that way, because more people introduced themselves this time... ) I wonder how many applicants actually progressed to the final round.

Does anybody know if any finalists have stepped forward on other Disney-related boards?

Congrats to all those moving on and big hugs to those who have to wait until next year to try again.

I've been reading along here for the past several days, but haven't posted because I've been so nervous right along with all of you.

For those moving on, I have to tell you that I was a complete and total nervous wreck before the phone interview. I actually made index cards with the names of my kids and their activities and taped these on my office wall so that I'd have a reference in case I blanked out.

No need to worry though, the CMs were/are very nice. Plus, you all can now visualize who you'll be talking to. We had no idea who this mythical Leanne was. And I'm assuming that Laura will be in on the calls too. We KNOW she's nice.
