Hi Erin - thanks for the link. Interesting reading - especially the part about how Marketing thought they'd be lucky to get 100 applications last year. I bet Leanne would have never thought a year later she'd be accepting up to 20,000 apps!

According to the Twitter updates on Leanne's blog, it appears that Disney is hosting another blogger event. (Very cool!)

I'm not sure if it's targeting Mommy writers, though. 'Guess we'll see as folks begin to post details about their Disney weekend... Scoopy is on the case!

My question: Does Leanne ever sleep?? She sounds like one busy woman. Reading a bazillion contest essays, participating in the EEC weekend, repeatedly jetting to NYC, now this...

"I'll be working most of the weekend meeting and getting to know a group of fellow bloggers. I have to say we timed this event right - how fortunate for us it's Epcot Food & Wine Festival time. It's been more than a year since I last dined there so I'm very excited about the flavors and tastes that await me. Good times ahead."

Heeee! I totally forgot about that Kinko's incident -- probably because I've done similar things so many times this year.

It really looks like there are quite a few people from outside the US -- that's great. I think it will add a whole new perspective.

Now that I am finally home, and settled with my own computer, and can catch up on the Dis ... I just want to say:

Jennifer, Thank you keeping up the list of us Dis'ers who have made it to round 2!

Congrats to everyone who is moving on. Have you all answered your questions? I couldn't wait to get mine in - I had to do it the same day I saw the email come in!

So....Any more lurkers out there that have moved on? Come on, and announce yourselves! This time last year, I was among the lurkers as well !

No matter what happens, I hope the new panelists will continue to include us all in your "Further Adventures" as Eileen has called them. I've enjoyed keeping up with the 2008 panel and getting a peek at the Magical year you've all had. Thank you 2008 panelists for thinking of us!

Everyone here is such a great friendly bunch and so supportive of each other, I just love it!

I too have got through to the second round.
I got back from WDW this week to find the e-mail.
Very suprised as I am an "older" mum (my children are not children anymore!)

As I haven't time to read all threads, and being from UK don't know much about the panels activities this year, could I ask for a quick update from one of you - how often did you visit WDW, how much time per week/month was taken up with "moms panel" work?
