I don't mind at all!!! I've been busy spring cleaning ( dusting mini-blinds etc.) so I'm glad someone is on top of things. I seem to be buried at the moment.
Preston loves the promotional video, he just keeps watching it over and over. I thought I would take the opportunity to clean while he is occupied.

Long lost Erin here. I've been a little OCD with the Panel. (Bet you couldn't tell ). Every time I tell myself that I'm going to slow down, I check in with the administrative site and I see all those questions and I get drawn back in.

Bret gave me a little kick and told me to check back in on you guys.

I can't believe you folks are still hanging in here. That's so amazing! I'm glad you all liked the Mickey Moms packet so much. I'm definitely going to convey your feelings to the CMs. AND I'm going to tell them that next time they should send two magnets .

Hi everyone ( lurker here!! )! I got my MMC package today and I was so thrilled! It was just like Christmas morning only better.

Did all the round two'ers and round three'ers get the package? Is anyone missing something from their package?

I have everything, but the pins. I was a bit upset that they were missing. I think they were just forgotten because the envelope does not appear to be messed with.

Any thoughts on what I should, if anything? I would love the pins, but I am happy with my magnet!!

Hi! I have been lurking and laughing at all of you because I am afraid of getting my magnet stolen too! Mine was on my fridge and then after reading all of your comments, I decided that maybe I was being a little paranoid and decided to put it on my car and risk losing it. I went to pick up my kids from school and as soon as my son (9) saw it on the car, he said, "Mom... aren't you afraid that someone will steal it?"! Soo... I went home, took my magnet off the car and now it is back on the fridge. I guess that I am not the only paranoid one! At least I can say that I proudly displayed my MMC magnet (even if it was for only 20 minutes)!

Hey, Erin! Thanks for checking in! Yes, we all loved the Mickey Moms packet very much...and we are having a lot of fun with it. It's nice that Disney did this to stir things up a bit - we were in a bit of rut around here. As you know, we are your biggest cheerleaders!

I'm glad Bret gave you a little kick to check in (thanks, Bret!). Now you need to pay it forward and give our Heather (R) a little kick. We miss her too!

I was just talking with Bret and he said that everyone got their packages over here! I got mine yesterday and put it on my minivan right away!

In my town, there is another resident with the same model and color minivan as mine, and they are also Disney fans. We both have tons of Mickey markings all over our vans.

I'll bet he follows me home one day and steals my magnet!

Here's cool news.... a friend of a friend (how's THAT for a reliable source?!) is headed over to Epcot tomorrow for a focus group about the Mickey Moms Club! I'll try to get all the juicy details I can, but I have a feeling she'll have to sign a confidentiality agreement.

It's Kim - just checking in to say I got my magnet and immediately put it on the back of my van!

I'll be seeing the CMs this weekend and be sure to tell them you all liked the packets. But need another magnet!

I'm headed for a quick 2 night event to WDW. My fellow panelist, Darcie, and I were invited to attend a media event for Mommy Bloggers. We will be there to informally share our experiences on the panel. I can't wait to see the CMs again and give Darcie a big ol' hug. The panelists feel like family!

I'm so happy that you are all hanging in here and staying in touch. I'll try to stop in again when I return from the Happiest Place on Earth. Now where could that be??

Nice to see how much positive buzz the Mickey Moms Club gifts created. Isn't free stuff the best!!

I'm also headed to WDW this weekend, but doing so on my own dime. Just wanted to do some research on the Resorts, and will do some follow-up video work with Candice on Sunday at the Animal Kingdom. It was random that it worked out the same weekend of the mommy blogger stuff - but hope I'll get a chance to see Kim and Darcie at some point over the next two days.



On an unrelated noted, I was watching the DVD sent in the Mickey Moms Club packet last night (it is simply the 2008 Disney planning DVD - nothing custom for the Moms Panel), and noticed that if you go to the WDW "Vacation Planning" and then "Planning Your First Trip" section they have a short section about "And if you have further questions, go online to our new forum...disneyworldmoms.com"!!!" Thought that was very very cool.

If they are marketing it on the DVD, then it seems like this is something that Disney may keep around for a while.

Here I am! I feel so honored to be remembered!

We've had a lot of health issues in the family so I've been struggling to keep my head above water - I'm sorry I've been neglectful!

I, very sadly, have still not received my Mickey Moms packet. I am so afraid it will never come and I'll never get the magnet.

I have nothing really exciting to report here. My oldest dd will (I think) be entering school this fall for the first time - I've homeschooled, but it's become very difficult to do with all the other issues right now. Anyway, I took her to an evaluation this morning and the teacher came back with all kinds of questions for me about how I had taught her and how she knew things, etc. They were very impressed (and seriously she's amazing, why shouldn't they be? ) and they told me that whatever I'm doing, to keep doing it. That felt so great to hear! I know you other stay-at-home or homeschooling moms can appreciate how thankless the job can be sometimes, and how you don't feel like people really notice what you're doing. I felt very validated this morning so it was a great way to start a weekend! And this afternoon dh called to tell me he got a nice raise and another bonus!

So that's my life in a nutshell.
