Good morning! Okay, this is going to sound stupid...I am so worried that the sonographer was wrong yesterday. I am nervous to get excited about a girl, and then have it turn out to be a boy. I know it sounds silly. She seemed pretty sure of herself and I certainly didn't see any boy stuff. I see the doc on Monday and I am going to ask him to see the picture of the "girl parts" (since I didn't get one). I am just being silly.

It's normal to doubt the news. They're not just looking for a male part, but for the female parts. It's just those aren't as obvious to us. I doubted that my first baby was a girl, too.

Hi guys! I have a little time here while my boys are watching a dinosaur movie. Then I have to come up with some experiments. Whoopie! We are all quite tired of school these days but I feel like we can't take time off because we missed almost two weeks with the chicken pox. Ugh. Can't wait until May. (We started in Aug so we'll quit in May.)

TEA!! I love tea. I have to get a new dress actually because I am taking DD to an American Girl tea at a teahouse in the cities here. It was hard because I didn't think it through and told her about it and then she thought we were going to Chicago. I felt bad. She is bummed because we are going to CA and visiting Legoland but not the AG store in Los Angeles. Last night DH and I decided that we need to go to Chicago late this summer or early fall.

No, you are not being silly. With DD after we found out I felt very confident, but then the night after we finished painting her room--pink!!--I got all freaked out and had a dream that she came out and she was a boy! With a pink room! Ask your Dr and then you will feel better. Any chance of another ultrasound?

I know! We have been doing science science science lately and I am about tapped out. Today we stirred food coloring into oil and then poured that in a bowl of water. I thought it was cooler than they did. Oh well. Yesterday was cornstarch in water which they kept getting back out all day. Can't win 'em all I guess!

The weird thing is that it really doesn't even feel like April here yet. It is COLD outside! I think once it gets warmer I will at least feel like we are getting nearer to the end!

It's almost time to head to another baseball game. Zach has 5 games between Monday and Saturday. This lack of car is going to be tough this week since I'm supposed to be driving carpool Friday and Saturday. I think I got out of Friday's driving and can do it Saturday morning. I might end up needing to rent a car for some of next week. Found out that the damage is over $2000 and tomorrow we'll get a better estimate about how long it will take.

Angel, I have a question for you when you're around. Remind me.

My head still hurts even though I took one of my last maxalt. I think I'll take a little nap before Jake gets home and we have to leave.

No not really the police Julie, just an authority figure. I am really wiped out today.

Well, home from taking the boy to he doctor. His new daycare contacted me last week to express concern about his speach delay. They also asked if he'd ever had his hearing tested. So we took him in to the pediatrician to talk about their concerns. The Pediatrician took a look and said that there's a lot of fluid in his ears...so they did this special test where they measured the pressure...normal is a large spike, abnormal is a small bump, the boy's was flat...both ears.

So now we get to give him a tone of medication, see what that does, and then take him back in a month to see if the pressures better...I would guess that if it's not our next trip will be to an ENT. This is my sick kid, so who knows how long this has been going on, he has no pain reactions to speak of.

Lara... I can't say I know how you feel, but my son has a very high pain tolerance and it is hard to know when he is sick. I hope the medicine helps quickly. Oh, and I need to talk to you later, will you be around?
