I want to go to Europe for my Honeymoon and an all inclusive tour seems like the easiest route to take. Disney is pretty expensive and I do not know if I could possibly do it cheaper on my own yet but staying in a castle seems like a very expensive thing!

Would you consider Adventures by Disney for a Honeymoon trip?

Do you think travelling with a group is an odd thing to do for a honeymoon trip?

If you want to do Europe and want a stress free luxurious vacation, Adventures by Disney is a very good option. Except when you are doing attractions and common meals you don't interact with the group that much, again if you are travelling with kids like we did we would mingle more. Adults only tour is a good option. In fact one of an ABD reports done by" Circarama" on mousekeepers.com, he talks about a honey moon couple who were with them. My point is it has been done before and I think it will be a great Honeymoon

I think this depends on how active and romantic you want it. We are do-ers, so we went to Disney World for our honeymoon 25 years ago and had a wonderful time. ABD's are busy and are about culture and activity, not relaxing romance.

I agree with the suggestion to go on an adult only departure and expect most of the other adults to be well over 40 or 50. If you are quite a bit younger, you might find them a little intrusive, making jokes, asking questions etc, and you may not prefer that kind of attention! ( we saw this phenomenon on our recent French Polynesia cruise which was a mix of folks married 25-50 years and newlyweds)

It is a group tour, so you can expect to socialize a lot, group dinners and not have much time on your own alone. If none of that bothers you, I think ABD's are great...really depends on what your image of your honeymoon is...times have changed and lots of folks look for different things...I would have been bored stiff sitting in Hawaii for a week on my honeymoon, even though I loved my honey and still do;)

We had a couple on our trip that was on their anniversary - away from their six kids! :-)
They enjoyed the group activities, but tended to go off on their own, or sit quietly and chat toward the back of the bus, etc. everyone respected their time and included them when they wanted to be included.

Now, me, I loved our Bermuda honeymoon, on the beach together for a week! ;)
