Hi, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this on here, but...I recently became an authorized Disney travel specialist. I have been a long time Disney fan, and decided that since I've helped so many of my friends and family plan their trips, as well as mine, I might as well get credit for it. The advantages of having me, or another
travel agent, book your trip are essentially the same as using
AAA, however I like to think I give more of a personal service to my clients. I search the Disney sites for deals and discounts daily, get updated through their travel agent website so I know if there is a new deal available for you. I can make your dining reservations for you, and once you book your trip, I can provide you with as little or as much help planning out your days as you would like. I take at least 1 trip a year to WDW with my family, so I can offer touring plans to you based on your family's needs. The long and short of it is, if you like to plan your trip (I was always a binder and spreadsheet planner and consider the planning as much fun as the actual trip) then you may not have a need for a travel agent. If you are a busy parent and don't have time to plan your trip or call to make changes if a special offer comes out, then a travel agent may be perfect for you. I hope this message helped you out, I in no way am trying to push myself on you, but I would love to help plan your vacation. MODS if this is not allowed, please delete..
