Ok, fellow Dis'ers I have an amazing rate for my up coming trip with Advantage Rent a Car.

Total for two weeks including all fees $201.00, The best I can get next is Alamo at $267.00
My rental dates are 9/19 to 10/3.

BUT, I have read some horror stories about Advantage. I have not seen to many about the MCO location but at other ones.

HOWEVER, I noticed that they are now under new ownership.

So, I was wondering if people could provide any feedback as to what they are like. Any personal experiences with them or their cars.

Thanks a ton!!!!!

I have a great rate from Advantage for our October trip. However I am also concerned about them. Within 10 days of our trip I will try to gat a super deal from Priceline and cancel Advantage. I have done this in the past and it tends to work out best for us.

My inlaws are in FL now and rented from Advantage. They, too, got a great deal and they actually love them. They got a Chevy Cobalt - they purposely rented that size. I actually just priced my upcoming Oct trip and Advantage prices have really shot up.

Ok, I got the Alamo car for $240.00 total. It is 40 bucks more but after what I heard and the fact that Alamo is onsite, it seems like a worth while $40.

That is $240 for a 14 day rental. 9 bucks a day plus all the taxes/fees.

If you are still looking for a car check out their specials. The $30 dollar off weekly helped and then the prepay option knocked it down some more.

I found the $30 code, but couldn't find a place to print the coupon. The coupon site said that no printout was required, but the alamo site said that I used a coupon that may be required to be shown when I check-in - what should I do??

Wow, $240.00 total for your date is fabulous! If possible, please post our codes, etc.
