Hi! This is my first time posting so I'm sorry if this is not in the right place. A couple of friends and I will be going to Disney for the first time since we've all turned 21 (and the 2nd time ever) for the food and wine festival. We are staying on Disney property and were wondering if there is a way to get a couple of bottles of Champagne for mimosas in the morning or would we have to bring them from home in our luggage? Is this even allowed? Thanks!

It would be cheaper to bring it with you or buy it off property, however all of the resorts have a store where you can buy alcohol, and I have seen champagne at them, can say how good it is.

You can either bring them or buy in various locations on property.I know they sell sparkling wine at the food shop in DTD and probably your resort gift shop. Plus you can buy champagne /sparkling wine in World Showcase in Epcot. There are also online places like Garden Grocer you can order online for delivery to your resort.
Just don't use bring any glass if you are going to be drinking by the pool. That is not allowed

I'd stop and get some before or head just off property on international there's a bunch of stores and liquor/spirit stores

Writing this down!!! I do LOVE Margaritas!

We had customized gift baskets from DisneyFloral and Gifts delivered to the room last summer, and they were exactly what I had hoped for. We got the kids a few toys and their favorite snacks, plus disney wine glasses and a relatively cheap bottle of wine for DH and I. We also packed our beverage of choice in our checked luggage. TSA requirements are posted online, but basically, wrap it in bubble wrap and double bag it in ziplock baggies.

I just recently asked a similar question. Everyone said bring from home or buy there. One of the suggestions that came up often was trying the "Once Upon a Vine" wine sold through out the resorts and parks. I'll probably grab a few bottles to bring back.
have fun and enjoy!

If you bring from home (much cheaper and you know what you are getting), wrap the bottles first in a plastic grocery bag. Then wrap with bubble wrap and secure with duct tape. No problems with anything. Um, did I just say that? Damn, I never did this at all!

We travel with wine or champagne often. We use Wineskin to transport the bottles in our checked luggage. It has bubble wrap inside, double sealed, with heavy seams. Place them in the center of the bag and never had a problem, even when we travel with a bunch of them (hazard of living near Napa and family in NY).

Thats actually good wine for the price. Disney has plenty of good wine, they need to start bringing in more craft beers though.
I have to bring a pack of microbrew down every time if I am not in the mood for a scotch or a nice red.

i am a craft beer guy myself, DW is the wino. from what ive heard, they only sell domestics mainly in the resort shops? I guess the only "craft" will be when I am bouncing around @ Epcot

Yeah I agree with you, the resort shops are pretty bad when it comes to beer selection. World Showcase for sure has some nice stuff going on. I have noticed some local and other microbrews creeping into the signature restaurants. Had a three philosophers in CG and a Vanilla Porter from Colorado at Citrocos both were very good. I just hoping Disney keeps adding more.
