Anyone know if they're back on the ship yet? I found one post that I think was saying Tisa was on the Magic mid February. Anyone know who is on the Fantasy, if they are in fact back on the ships?

Thanks in advance!

We did have Tisa on the Magic in January and spoke with her about changes. There is no longer a dedicated club host, this will rotate among various cruise staff. So, Tisa did many, but not all, of the adult activities in the evening. She also said she did not think Jo will be returning to DCL due to a new career path in the UK.

Awe man that makes me sad. Jo was so much fun! But, with all the restrictions lifted now pretty much, I would imagine the adult activity hosts would be back in full time work. I have not heard good reviews of just any staff hosting events.

Yeah I hope they re-evaluate that change. Having the club host was great because they were able to become friendly with a lot of the cruisers doing adult-only events.

I agree 100%!

We sailed in August with no dedicated host. We also sailed in February and while Lindsey was not actually the "Club Host" she told us she convinced whoever is in charge to let her do all the adult activities at night. She was there every night, with all the running jokes, and a lot of the same people, it was great! We, and I'm sure many others had a lot of fun with her. Even my hard to please 22 yo DS said he had underestimated the 21+ experience in the clubs at night (this was his 20th Disney cruise since he was 8 months old, first over 21).

A perfect example of the impact of a Club Host is on our last cruise a guest in Evolution looked familiar to us . We thought he looked like a Club Host we had had maybe 5 years ago, Deano. When he got up to do Karaoke, Lindsey introduced him as Dean. We finally did end up talking to him and confirmed it was in fact Deano, former Club Host. On the other hand, I could not tell you 1 name or what anyone who ran the adult activities looked like in August, and we attended them every night. A dedicated Club Host makes so much more impact!

thanks for this info, glad Tisa is still there. I do talk with her from time to time

I will saw a old club host said it was started and a made up position I want to say he told me in 2007, he thought going the route no club host and all cruise staff rotating is actually better

Well I'll have to disagree with his opinion. lol I've only been cruising since 2014 and absolutely love having the Adult Cruise activities director at all the evening events.

that's fine, just sharing what I heard. I've met many Different Club Hosts and Cruise Staff since 2006. I say 2006 because since then enjoy the Adult night clubs since then 2002 and 2005 I wasn't old enough

When I was on the Fantasy March 26 cruise Yoyo was the lead on the adult activities. He was awesome! He did say something on the last night about the staff handling the adult only activities rotating. My teen saw him around the ship and commented to me separately how great he was. It felt like he was the activities host in pre-covid times.

For those who noted they liked Deano, when we talked to him in February he told us he was tying up loose ends on an endeavor he started during Covid and then would be back working on board the Dream in a few weeks. My son is actually on the Dream right now and I asked him if he has seen him around but he has not.

Deano was just amazing on the 2020 WBPC. I’d love to hear reports that he’s back. I did not enjoy the adult offerings as much on the Dream in March.
