I've set our ADR's all up. We will be celebrating our DS 1st birthday and it will be DH's parents 1st trip to WDW since the early 80's (GASP!). Was wondering if anyone could "critique" our plan. TIA.

TS Chef Mickey's for dinner and DS's birthday

Friday 9/1 Epcot
TS Coral Reef for lunch
CS can't decide between mexico and japan

Saturday 9/2 Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney
CS Flame Tree BBQ for lunch
CS Pop Century Food court for dinner (we are staying at PC)

Sunday 9/3 Magic Kingdom
TS Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch
CS Cosmic Rays for dinner

Monday 9/4 Disney Studios
TS Sci Fi Dine in for lunch :3dglasses
CS ???

Tuesday 9/5 -- Magic Kingdom this is our last day, but we won't be leaving property until about 5pm
TS Ohana for breakfast
CS ???

Of all these places, we have only been to WCC and Sci Fi

Great plans for the first day!
For Epcot..you may even consider Sunshine Seasons for CS in The Land. The have a wonderful selection and fantastic desserts.

On AK day....you have only CS's for that day. Why not eat CS at Flame Tree and do a TS at Boma after Ak then hop a bus from AK to DTD for the evening. We loved Boma!

Mk day....have you considered just eating in the park for lunch? It is going to take sometime to head to WCC. You're just going to lose more park time than if you did LTT or CP which are both wonderful. You've done WCC before so maybe give CP a whirl. They really have a great selection. Plus a time to get some fun character pics with DS. The pooh characters were great with my little girl last year.

MGM CS is really lacking...we usually do Pizza Planet.

CS for your last day, maybe B&C on the Boardwalk or EOS at DTD? Have a great trip!

My advice is to make sure you allow enough time between lunch and dinner. On our first family trip we made the mistake of scheduling both lunch and dinners every day. We found that by dinner time we were not especially hungry. Now we have a large breakfast, snack or light lunch and then dinner. Make sure you leave plenty of time between your meals.

I have to say here, our rule of thumb is if we have a big breakfast, it is a very light lunch and then a nice dinner somewhere.. or if we are having a nice lunch at a sit down restaurant, we may not feel like a big meal for dinner...

I noticed you do not have Citrico's at the GF on your list, it is a very good restaurant with good food and excellent service..

Also, between Mexico and Japan, I think Japan is far superior. I have never had a good meal at Mexico, it is too dark in there and the food is not great. At least at Teppanyaki, the food is consistently good and if you get a fun chef, he entertains you while cooking your food. The food is cooked in front of you and is very good.
