I can make the ADR's for our trip at the end of the week and I wanted a bit of feedback. I have been to Disney quite a few times but have never made ADR's, we have either eaten counter service at Disney or eaten in Orlando, until I joined this forum, I didn’t have a clue that half of these restaurants existed! Bearing in mind this is my ninth trip! We now have children and want to make more of an effort for them.
I have done a bit of research and as we are such a big group it’s been hard so I have decided on only eating as a group a few times in Disney. There are 18 of us (10 adults 8 children between the ages of 2-15 years mixed gender)

Monday 30th October - CRT for Dinner (will I have a chance with such a big group?) thinking about 6.30pm so we can watch the wishes after.

Wednesday 1st November - Our Wedding Day - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 4.30 - 5pm

Friday 11th November - Last day - Breakfast about 10am or early lunch about 12pm at Chef Mickey’s or if anyone can recommend another character breakfast/early lunch.

Also if you think there are any restaurants you think we shouldn’t miss, I would appreciate it.
Thanks guys.

Hi Cinderalla,

Congratulations on your wedding. :cheer2: I have a large group going down in late August (13 folks). We didn't have a huge problem getting CRT for dinner but they could not accomadate every one at the same table. Which was ok for me.
I would suggest calling immediately at your 180 day mark, to ensure the time you'd like. If CRT is not available, how about Crystal palace? This is a buffet but the food is very good and I think it's a very pretty restaurant.

Good luck and best wishes. Post lots of pictures

Oops, forget to mention, check out 1900 Park fare in the GF for a character breakfast. I think it's a bit more romantic than Chez Mickey.

eliza61 - Thanks! I am looking really forward to eating at CRT - my step son is also looking forward to it - which I was surprised at (Cinderella isn’t cool at his age!) he is going to be 8 in June! The reason I chose CRT is for my bridesmaids - they are aged 7, 8 and 9 and I think they would love the experience and would be a lovely surprise for them. I am a bit disappointed though, I checked the opening hours and they are only open until 6pm on the 30th October, :confused3 . Think it is because of Halloween, I am so sad! Will have to fit it in somewhere before the wedding! We arrive on the sat evening (28th oct) about 5pm after an 9 hour flight so we will all be too tired I expect but it would be a nice way to start off the holiday! If not it will have to be the Sunday - darn it! I prefer the dinner menu to the lunch menu otherwise we would have done lunch. The only reason I said Chef Mickey’s was to give the boys a chance – poor things are seeing Cinderella twice! Thanks again :cheer2:

Hi and Congratulations on your wedding.
Want to note that Chef Mickey's does not serve lunch. Only breakfast and dinner. You may want to look over the menus for all WDW restaurants on allearsnet.com.

With your large party, I'd book your ADR's ASAP! Your choices look great! You could do Park Fare 1900 for breakfast (character) and/or Ohana's for breakfast (character) or dinner with all your cousins! Very fun!

Congrats!

We went with a group of 24 a few years ago and we ate at CRT for breakfast, just at seperate tables surrounding each other. Make your ADR's ASAP so you can get where you want to eat. HDDR was also fun with everyone, again at seperate tables. Good luck!!

I would really like to eat here; it is somewhere where none of us have eaten before so very excited. I will be on the phone at 7am on the 180 day! Thanks for your advice; I am glad I have chosen these now. Think I will book Chef Mickey’s for breakfast at 10.30 ish, good way to say bye to Disney! Haven’t even got there yet! Role on October!
Does anyone know if it is best to ring group dining instead of regular dining if that makes sense?
