Just got off the phone with Disney - booked our ADR's.

It is so great talking to them - they really make you feel good!

It makes such a pleasant change talking to someone who is polite, friendly and welcoming on the phone.

Really "in the mood" now - LOL

Also - just sorted out the theme park tickets - 14 day disney and 3 day (plus 11 days free) universal. They have gone up a few quid since the beginning of the year but are still fantastic value.

24 days to go ...... not long now......

makes you feel special when talking to disney doesn't it!! :cool1:
not many sleeps to go now , you lucky thing!!! :jumping1:
:earsboy: :mickeybar ::MinnieMo :mickeybar :earsgirl:

i started my trip planner diary last night ...... dh thinks ive gone :crazy:

ive got all my ADR numbers writen down in about three places :rotfl:

i just want my tix now but ive a little longer to wait :sad1:

ADR = Advance Dining Reservation.

florry, did you have any problems getting the ADRs you wanted given that it's quite close to the time?

I only ask because i really wanted to make a couple for our September trip but wasn't sure if we'd get them.

Come on then florry, tell us where your ADRs are for :)

I totally agree talking to Disney makes me feel all smiley :) :)

Wilma-bride - I had to adjust the times a little and could not get a table for 6 at a couple of places (2 x tables for four) but if you get there in good time you can usually persuade them to squeeze you in on a table for 6 or at least have adjoining tables.
They are very accomodating though and are extremely patient with you on the phone.

Well Miffy - of course I have the obligatory ADR for Sunday 21st at the Rose & Crown (after the Dis-meet of course).
I tried to book some places that we have never eaten at before so I have also got the 50's Prime-Time Diner at MGM for lunch on 25th - Boma for dinner on the 23rd and a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the 30th.
We are also going to try out Beaches & Cream on the 27th (Kitchen Sink me-thinks!).
I would love to be more adventurous - the San Angel looked fabulous for a romantic dinner - but I'm afraid we have the in-laws with us this year and they are strictly "meat & 2 veg" if you know what I mean! I almost got lynched for taking them to the Rainforest Cafe in 2002! "Damn foreign food"...........

Oh well - I just have another excuse to come back again - don't I ?....LOL

Great choices florry!

We loved the 50s Prime Time, and are eating at Boma this trip as well. Beaches & Cream I'm sure we'll squeeze in as it's only a skip and a jump from the Boardwalk :)

Oh and we loved the Rose & Crown in December!

Clearly a case of great minds think alike methinks :teeth:

Miffy - What did you eat at the Rose & Crown? Any recommendations?

florry, here is what we had:

(all were yumtastic. DH had the fish & chips I think but we didn't take a picture of that)
