ADRs and split stay

I'm curious how ADRs work these days for a split stay. I am staying 3 nights at one resort and then moving to a vacation club villa (renting points from a friend). Last time I did this I called once and was able to make all reservations at once. Is that still true or do I have to call twice?

I'm going in September and I had to call twice, at each of my 90 day marks.
After reading here about people who insisted they could book 10 full days' worth of ADR's even though they were doing a split stay, I called back and another CM told me their new system couldn't do that.
After getting the same info from 2 CM's I gave up and called twice. Then adjusted some of my ADR's online after that. All in all, it was pretty easy.

I'm doing WL from 10/17-10/20 and then AKL from 10/20-10/26. I used the online system 90 days from the 10/17 check-in using the WL confirmation/reservation number and I was able to make ADRS for 10 days from that date, i.e., my full stay.
