How do you make your ADR's this far out (we're going in Sept) when you don't have the park hours or EMH hours yet. What's the possibility this sept's EMH are the same days as last Sept? I really want to get my reservations but I'm worried about missing park time.

we usually book the time we usually eat at home, not based on park times. have a look at last year's park hours; that should give you a good idea as to what the times will be. the more popular restaurants i would book now~a lot of the world showcase restaurants book quickly. if you have your heart set on california grill to see the fireworks, book late-ish(8:00 or so;well that is late for us~LOL) as we are still in daylight savings time in september. book and then if needed try to adjust. good luck!

I have ALL that info b/c i subscribed to tour guide mike! his site is PACKED with info that is very important for your upcoming trip....such as sept park hours, EMH, parade times- what days to stay away from which parks b/c they will be crowded- he will update you with any unexpected changes in the park times etc.

i planned my next trip just by TGM suggestions. i have been to disney 10 times prior to our next trip in sept and never went with a plan. not that i had much problems, but it seems like now you have to do more research (ie- least crowded times of the year and ADRs just so that your trip goes a bit more smoothly) i remember back in the day you can actually walk up to a t/s restaurant and get a seat-- now you would be lucky to get a seat with everyone doing ADRs--- i am glad i did use TGM- because now i have all my ADRs for sept and free dining!

Keep in mind that both park hours and EMH days/hours can and do change. So it's better to make your dining reservations based on when and where you want to eat. Just try to keep your theme park plans in line with your dining plans. You don't want to be in the MK and have a dinner reservation at the Disney Studios. Keeping your park plans and dining plans together saves a lot of travelling time.
