This morning marked our 90 day magic number. I called and immediately got a CM and started to make our ADRs. I knew to start with Le Cellier to try to get in. We went there two times on our honeymoon (eight years ago) and loved it. During the entire stay they had one time for dinner to accommodate our party - I took it. Then I tried to book Spoodles. They showed nothing available at all and no note of being closed, she had no idea. So here is what we have:
Saturday 9th: Chef Mickey - Figured it would be a fun way to start the trip with our kids first visit.
Sunday 10th: 50's Prime Time - Should be fun on Mother's Day. Hubby has never been here and is excited to try it.
Monday 11th: Boma - Heard so much about this the entire group (4 of us and my parents) are excited to try it.
Tuesday 12th: The Wave - Shocked that no Spoodles so I went with something close to the MK. Hubby eat vegetarian/fish (not seafood) when out and have heard decent things about it.
Wednesday 13th: Coral Reef - Figured this would be nice for the kids and good steak for my father. I have memories of going here when I was little.
Thursday 14th: Crystal Palace - This is actually my son's 2nd birthday. We thought it would be a fabulous place to go since Chef Mickey was booked months ago when I called for this date.
Friday 15th: Le Cellier - The only day and time they had a table for 6. If we wanted to break up into 3 and 3 we could have done a different day. So Friday it is!
Hubby is wondering if we should book a CM for breakfast. My only fear with that is the boys getting up after staying out later at night. We are toying with Ohana, Cape May Cafe (we stayed at BC on our honeymoon) or Tusker House. My parents do not want to commit to this either, so I figure we will do breakfast on the fly. We can still get Mickey Waffles all over and Tonga Toast at CS at the Poly.
Whew, so glad that is over for now!
