This morning marked our 90 day magic number. I called and immediately got a CM and started to make our ADRs. I knew to start with Le Cellier to try to get in. We went there two times on our honeymoon (eight years ago) and loved it. During the entire stay they had one time for dinner to accommodate our party - I took it. Then I tried to book Spoodles. They showed nothing available at all and no note of being closed, she had no idea. So here is what we have:

Saturday 9th: Chef Mickey - Figured it would be a fun way to start the trip with our kids first visit.

Sunday 10th: 50's Prime Time - Should be fun on Mother's Day. Hubby has never been here and is excited to try it.

Monday 11th: Boma - Heard so much about this the entire group (4 of us and my parents) are excited to try it.

Tuesday 12th: The Wave - Shocked that no Spoodles so I went with something close to the MK. Hubby eat vegetarian/fish (not seafood) when out and have heard decent things about it.

Wednesday 13th: Coral Reef - Figured this would be nice for the kids and good steak for my father. I have memories of going here when I was little.

Thursday 14th: Crystal Palace - This is actually my son's 2nd birthday. We thought it would be a fabulous place to go since Chef Mickey was booked months ago when I called for this date.

Friday 15th: Le Cellier - The only day and time they had a table for 6. If we wanted to break up into 3 and 3 we could have done a different day. So Friday it is!

Hubby is wondering if we should book a CM for breakfast. My only fear with that is the boys getting up after staying out later at night. We are toying with Ohana, Cape May Cafe (we stayed at BC on our honeymoon) or Tusker House. My parents do not want to commit to this either, so I figure we will do breakfast on the fly. We can still get Mickey Waffles all over and Tonga Toast at CS at the Poly.

Whew, so glad that is over for now!

Called back up and added two breakfast reservations into the plan. The two are for Kona Cafe and Cape May Cafe. Now we just have to figure out how to get from Pop Century to those resorts before the busing actually begins. They said we just have to ask to arrange things when we check in.

I think your original plan was perfect.

The additional two breakfasts will either be bonuses or overkill. We actually canceled a character breakfast as we just didn't have room to eat the meal. It was booked on our Boma day and there is no way at that point in our trip we could have really enjoyed both that meal and Boma. We loved Boma and were glad we had room to try so many things. We shared a CS breakfast platter that morning and still did not finish that. We were well fed on the DP.

its great to have your reservations all in order....we did ours two weeks ago and I felt ....YES we did it....we also got our Le Cellier and Crystal Palace which were our favorites to ask for...
have fun planning now

The reasoning for the Kona Cafe breakfast was to be able to have a place to sit and enjoy Tonga Toast before going to the park. We are going there at 8:00 and have dinner at The Wave at 5:30, so not too overboard.

I figured the Cape May Cafe was really nice to add rather than Ohana/Chef Mickey/Crystal Palace for a breakfast. Since it is close to the entrance of EPCOT it seemed like a nice alternate plan.

Better to have the two than regret not making them. We can always cancel when we arrive if we think it is too much.

I know exactly what you mean. For some reason ADRs were not nearly as cut throat 8 years ago when we went on our honeymoon. Those were the days you could actually walk up to Le Cellier and pick a time to dine on the day. Ah, if only it was that easy now.

Your lucky to have gotten Le Cellier, yesterday was my 90 day mark for our 10-15 trip and no Le Cellier. I can't decide to keep trying tor stick with Teppan Edo.

I asked for any dinner at Le Cellier during 9-15 and the only time they could do a table for 6 was the last day and early. I took it since we will likely be getting last minute things done before packing.

So much different than when we went before and could get in to Le Cellier any time we wanted without notice. I hope that you get in if you want, keep trying something may open up.

i booked on 2-8 as well and had no trouble getting a party of 6 at lecellier

You probably got in just before us. I was able to snag the one and only time available. Had we been willing to split the party into two groups of three we had plenty of times, but I could not do this. I knew it would be tough and it was the first reservation that I made. In the end it worked out.

Tonga Toast is available in the CS at the Poly, Captain Cook's.

Making adjustments during the trip is always a possibility.

We are going to be at Boma on Sunday night. I am glad I did not try to do Spoodles that had been a choice for Wednesday night....

I had read about them being available at Captain Cook's and we may just hit that as well. My parents are going with us and wanted at least one sit down breakfast and remembered Kona Cafe from long ago.

We were going to do Boma on Sunday for Mother's Day, but went for a different day in case we want to do Fantasmic. We can not do it on the 14th since that is my little guy's B-day. We are doing the MK that day.

I posted a question about Spoodles on another thread. According to a regular they may be open and not taking reservations during that time due to limited seating. I will miss Spoodles since we loved it on our honeymoon.

We do a TS breakfast/ early lunch & late dinner every day. That doesn't leave us much room for snacking, but we'd rather have the meals. To me, CS is just as filling as TS it's just not as good. I eat what I want & no more at either. I think you'll be happy you have a couple good, TS breakfasts.
